MathZ is owned by Cherie Grant, with each centre led by an experienced maths tutor using proven, effective teaching approaches. Former owner Lesley Ashman remains a valued part of the MathZ team.

Cherie is a qualified teacher, with leadership experience as a school principal and the School of Education within the University of Waikato.

Lesley brings strong primary and secondary maths experience, having been Deputy Principal at Rotokauri Primary School and a maths teacher at Fraser High School.

We ensure MathZ provides friendly, personalised maths tuition that builds confidence and helps students succeed.

At MathZ Hamilton, we aim to choose the best tutor to suit each student’s learning style and personality. Our tutors are mostly university students who have the ability to communicate effectively and to inspire young people.
